Dr. Nell Dopson Tillis

Dr. Nell Dopson Tillis is an Atlanta native. She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. She received her undergraduate degree from Furman University graduating Magna Cum Laude. She has practiced in the Atlanta area since graduation. She has been on the Board of the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Society and has been active in the Georgia Veterinary Medical Society. She has a Hairless Chinese Crested dog named Howie and a cat named Elvis. She is married to David Tillis and attends Johns Creek United Methodist Church. You may catch her running on the streets of Alpharetta or attending the activities of her three young adult children, Blake, Brent and Brooke.

Dr. Donna Adams

Dr. Donna Adams is a 1985 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She also received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She and Dr. Tillis became friends playing softball together in vet school. She practiced in Tucker for 10 years before opening Ivy Hill Animal Hospital with Dr. Tillis. Dr. Adams is involved in training puppies to become service dogs. She has a certified therapy dog named Tara, who is a Golden Retriever and a Labrador Retriever named Josie.

Dr. Miller

Dr. Miller was born on Warner Robins Air Force Base and grew up in the metro Atlanta area. She worked at Ivy Hill Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant when she was in high school and joined the Ivy Hill team as a veterinarian in 2024. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She holds a Master’s degree in Biology from Georgia State University focusing on Genetics and Biochemistry. Dr Miller graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and has been in practice since then. Ever since a study abroad trip to China in 2013, Dr Miller has cultivated an interest in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) and is certified in acupuncture. She is now pursuing a Master’s in TCVM. In her spare time Dr Miller likes to paint, do glassblowing, and explore the world with her husband Justin, son Luke, and her senior lab mix, Riley.
